Can These Makeup Sticks Really Improve Your Skin? I Tried Them and Here’s What Happened…

I wasn't expecting these results! 😳

I’m a makeup lover—but even I can get frustrated at how often makeup formulas wreak havoc on my skin. I know I’m not alone. We’ve all tried products that cause dry and flaky skin, negatively affect texture, or lead to breakouts. It can be a nightmare!

When I came across Ogee’s Contour Collections and Sculpted Complexion Sticks on my social media, I saw people claiming they could actually improve your skin while helping you look glowy and gorgeous.

Given some of my experiences, I was definitely skeptical—but I decided to give them a shot…

First Impressions

I ordered Ogee’s best-selling Crystal Contour Collection for $138 (about a 20% savings over buying individual sticks priced at $64) and decided to throw in one of their Sculpted Complexion Sticks (which come in 20 shades to suit a variety of skin tones).

The moment I opened the box I was impressed by the simple, luxe packaging. Each stick features a convenient magnetic cap and is easy to roll up to get the most out of the product. But I wasn’t going to let their great presentation sway me until I’d tried the product.

I started with the Sculpted Complexion stick to create buildable, natural coverage. I was fully expecting it to be like other contour sticks I’ve used—take a while to blend in and be a bit chalky, you know?—but I was pleasantly surprised by how creamy and easy to blend the formula was.

It melted right in and really made my skin look like a healthier—dare I say better?—version of itself.

I followed up with the Copper contour to sculpt out my cheeks. It’s the perfect shade of bronze (not orange or gray but completely neutral). The Rose Quartz blush made my skin look healthy and radiant, and the Opal highlighting stick added just the right amount of glow to the high points of my face.

But I’ve been fooled before by products that look and feel good on first application, only to leave you breaking out a week later. Next, I had to put in the time…

Cut to: Weeks Later

I’ve been using these products daily for the past few weeks, and…

When I tell you my skin looks better than it did before using Ogee’s products, I mean it looks much better.

With skin-friendly ingredients like Jojoba Oil—which hydrates, helps control oily skin, and delivers natural antioxidants without clogging pores—Ogee’s products are now fully integrated into my skincare routine.

The product feels lightweight on the skin but manages to be deeply hydrating. Better still, all of Ogee’s products are certified organic, cruelty-free, gluten-free, all-natural, free of GMOs, never tested on animals, and made in the USA.

My Final Verdict

Because these products deliver on their promises to improve your skin over time, I am a skeptic no more! Really, I’m in awe of the finish Ogee’s Crystal Contour Collection and Sculpted Complexion Stick have given to my skin. They’re unlike anything I’ve used in all my years of wearing makeup.

As a reminder, if you’re interested in giving Ogee a try, their Sculpted Complexion Sticks are $64 and come in 20 shades. You can take a quick quiz on their website that will match you with your shade, so there’s no guesswork involved.

They also have 3 beautiful Contour Collections to choose from, each of which is $138 and includes 3 products.

If you’re like me and have been frustrated by makeup that doesn’t sit right or breaks you out, I highly recommend giving Ogee a try. Your skin will thank you!
